The UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) on Friday said it was investigating whether it had erroneously reported that over half of the Netherlands is below sea level. The glitch came after its earlier exaggeration of the thaw in the Himalayan glaciers.

A report came out on Friday, stating that the Arctic ice melt can inflict damages amounting to $2.4 trillion to $24 trillion by the year 2050 on real estate, agriculture and insurance. The factors that can trigger the damages include floods, heat waves and sea level rise.

A conservation group confirmed Monday that less than 50 wild tigers are left in China.
