The Environment Agency released warnings that catastrophic flooding could threaten property and lives of citizens.
On Sunday, several flood alerts were announced in majority of areas across England. Authorities also issued a severe flood warning in areas across Cambridgeshire. However, it was lifted late Sunday.

The Energy Saving Trust and the Environment Agency have announced that every household could make waves into cutting their water bills and emissions. They claim that UK homes could cut emissions by up to 30% and that the average house could save £225 per year just by following some simple advice, such as lagging pipes, installing low-flow taps, and using loft and cavity wall insulation.
