RSPB Asks for Police Review

Conservationists and over 100 organisations led by the RSPB have called for a review on how police will protect the UK’s rare animals and plants. Currently, agreed standards are not in place amongst our police forces, which has led to an inconsistent approach in preventing and handling wildlife crime. This has caused many to accuse the police of putting crimes against wildlife ‘to the back of the queue.’
