The greenhouse gas emissions of the UK dropped by about 2% in 2008, according to official figures released today.
The estimates for 2008 indicated a drop of 1.9% in the set of six greenhouse gases as well as a 2% fall for carbon dioxide, the most common greenhouse gas.
