An international group,working to protect endangered species, denounced the unlawful act done on a whale shark on Tingloy Island in Batangas City, Philippines on Monday.

The corpse of a whale shark locally called “butanding”, which had been found with its fins and tail missing, was buried Tuesday morning on Tingloy Island in Batangas City, Philippines.
The event sadly pictured what had been agreed on at a Manila conferenceattended by 50 countries,regarding the need to protect this already endangered fish species.
