An international group,working to protect endangered species, denounced the unlawful act done on a whale shark on Tingloy Island in Batangas City, Philippines on Monday.
The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) released a statement on Wednesday, stressing concerns regarding the probable slaughter of the whale shark, locally known as “butanding”, whose fins were chopped off.
